Samuel Corin Evans is an artist living and working in London. His figurative work in painting and print draws inspiration from artists such as Neo Rauch and David Hockney. Sam has recently exhibited in the RWA Annual exhibition and Woolwich Contemporary print fair.
Sam draws inspiration from the urban landscape, the layout of streets and the drama of city’s landmark buildings. He is also drawn to the banks of the River Thames and the interface between built and natural environments. Sam grew up in the Forest of Dean and he remains ambivalent about the experience; whether leaving it was escape or loss.
Works can be purchased from the gallery shop, and Sam is available for commissions. Get in touch with him via the web form to discuss your ideas.
